Getting a code of F 11 and F 12. Cannot re-set the clock in order to check any oven functions. Is this a electronic oven control problem, and do we need to replace it?
The F11 and F12 codes indicate a shorted keypad and bad micro identification. You will want to disconnect power and wait 10 minutes then reapply power. If the fault code returns then you will want to replace the EOC 316560105.
When pre-heating oven, I heard a pop and both elements. Will not come on. clock, timer, stove works fine. is not reading fault of any kind. Any clue?
Answer Hello Jody,
You will want to check to see if you have a thermal overload on the unit. If you do then check the thermal to make sure that it did not blow. If the clock is still working then you can also do a voltage check on the clock assembly from L1 to either broil or bake and you should have 240 vac. If there is not 240 vac then you need to check power at the terminal block to make sure that you have 240 vac across outer terminals. If you do then the clock is bad.
Would this part ap4433337 make the oven light stay on all the time? The door switch test ok.
Answer Hello Dale. Yes, if the door switch is good, then the controller 316560105 could be the issue with the light on the unit.
