The shaft on my new convection fan motor doesn't have a groove around it for the retainer/circlip to go like the OEM one does. This is what keeps the small fan blade separated from sliding towards the motor. What am I supposed to do now???

Hi, I have a range/oven 790.46712603 that has a bad oven fan motor. I got the AP4369077 motor. First I had to break the motor apart from the back to be able to remove the motor because the nut that holds the fan blade inside the oven didn't break loose. My range has another fan blade on the back, next to the motor. After removing the old motor I also noticed that the old motor shaft used a d-clip and a retainer to hold that fan blade. The new new shaft does not have the edges for the d-clip and the retainer. So my question is, should I not use the blade that was with the motor or is the new motor the wrong part?

Hi the fan for the convection oven on my Kenmore stove started making noise. I'm guessing that is that motor and just want to make sure that I'm right. If is the motor, how hard it is to replace it? Is this the right part AP4369077? Thanks for your help.

I am replacing a fan in my oven. Do you go in from the front or the back of the oven?

I ordered the fan blade kit and am trying to replace the smaller blade that is on the outside of the oven (near the back). The replacement kit shaft however has a washer at the top attached with a circlip. How do you remove this washer at the top of the shaft? It seems to have been placed before assembly and slid to the top of the shaft.

The convection fan seems to be making a noise on the upper over. I removed the motor and in looking at it and the one your site list as a replacement part, they are different. The one I removed has a small fan blade located on the shaft close to the motor, actually right in front of the motor. The one in the picture on your web site doesn't show this fan blade, just the confection blade on the inside of the oven.It looks as this fan blade may have been to keep the fan motor cool. Has this blade been deleted from the motor? I don't want to order the incorrect part.
