Will a code "PL" indicate a failure of this sensor in the AP3790900 unit? The unit starts to run for about 5 seconds, stops, and then the PL code appears.

I checked my resources and was going to send you the fault code list and the owners manual, but my computer doesn't recognize your e-mail address as valid. What I found was no "P" codes at all. Unless it was actually a "PF" which means power failure, I'm not sure about this code. You may want to check the electrical connections, receptacle, junction boxes, and breaker for any possible bad connections. If you want the fault codes, I can still send them to a valid e-mail address.
