If my refrigerator side is not cooling and I feel no air coming through this flow regulator, or if I wiggle the casing where this is located to get the air to come through, does that mean this part is bad

Everything in the fridge side of my frigidaire side by side(2003) is freezing. Even waterline/filter. Blew out coils underneath and no changed. Turned both temp. Controls down to 1 or less and still freezing on fridge side! Is it the damper control or the defrost thermostat?

Replaced Damper Number AP 4909015 but does not work. Not sure I reconnected the 2 switches properly. Looking at damper with motor at left there are 2 switches side by side. I think for fridge control and for freezer/fan control. Which is which? If I did not connect properly I presume that would be why damper no working. Or I possibly did not insert flat contact on top of motor right side up. Could this also cause damper not working if the switches are connected OK. Would like to know before I take apart again to check. Thank you

Had my damper replaced 22 days ago. Now the refrigerator side doesn't feel as cold. The guy came back, saw frost in the freezer side and said I need a new defrost thermostat. There's a crack in the freezer. Could that cause the refrigerator to have warmed up and caused the frost in the freezer side? Thanks.
