Where can I find my model number?

I believe that the defrost heater is bad. I used to hear the sound of it, but not for awhile. also I have water pooling in the bottom of the fridge. Am I correct in my current direction, I will also check the timer and defrost switch.

How exactly do I do a continuity test on the heating element?

Answer Hello Theresa. You can test the heater 5303918247 with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. You will unplug the heater and touch the leads to the heater ends. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Answer Hello Z. You will need to test the defrost heater 5303918247 and the defrost thermostat 5303918202. They should read closed for continuity when cold. If they are good, you will need to replace the timer 240545401. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DM1. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
