I have a Frigidaire front load washer and I have several questions. 1) When I search info on this model, the mo.# always come up as ATFB6000ES0 or ES1 not just ES. I don't know one of these numbers is a replacement number for my model. The problem is that the washer won't spin and drain. Research suggest a faulty pump or computer is sensing that the door is not latched. What is most likely the problem? Thank you.

The unit will not final spin on the Permanent Press cycle. I had an error code of 41 which was the door lock switch. I tested the machine, unplugged, by pulling out the J2 plug and testing across the blk/red and blk wires. This showed an open.. I obtained a new switch locally and it tested the same. The door strike looks OK Am I testing this wrong or is there any way to test this out side the machine. I would like to prove that the door switch is either good or bad. I don't want to keep throwing parts at it and the next step in the flow chart is to replace the board.

I'm trying to test the Door Lock for Continuity. My Multimeter is coming up with 1358 I think it was. On the Wax Switch. How do I know if my Switch is Bad? My washer is NOT Spinning and NOT Agitating at all, When i turn it on for a Cycle, It fills with water, then sits and clicks for a few, then time runs out, then it Siphons the water out and that's it. I'm trying to Eliminate ALL possibilities, if it's NOT thw Door lock Switch I'd like to know how to Test the motor Controll Switch i think it is called.

Last week washer wouldn't high speed spin and would click off with 7 minutes left...error code e47...the door latch assembly was replaced with a new part and it worked good for 4 days and now it will not final spin again...the machine stays on the last 7 minutes and just adjitates the clothes slowly...everything drains fine...but now I'm at a serious loss of what to do...any ideas?

I bought this washer used & find that that the door is not completely sealing because (I think) a child might have hung on it. If I shim the door just right, I can get the machine to start but I continue to hear a load noise. Is this a vibration or an electrical warning buzzer that is similar to a seat belt warning? Thanks.
