Most Interesting

I recently purchased a used side by side Frigidaire refrigerator. Water slowly accumlates in the drip tray beneath the ice dispenser chute. Water is forming on the door that opens above the ice chute to allow ice to be dispensed and the water slowly runs down into the tray. It looks like the bottom portion of the rubber seal on the chute door has been torn off. there are several parts listed for the ice chute door and I'm not certain what all that I will need. Is there a seal and insulation on the back of the chute door or does everything come seperately? The front and back of the ice chute door on mine is black plastic with a little ring of rubber around the edge. Can you advise me of what I need. The door appears to be opening and closing as it should (just not sealing good).

when I push the button for ice, ice accumulates in the chute and does not discharge from the door. I am not sure which part needs replacement, door seal, ice chute, ice door assembly, door center. . . Recently there had been ice or frosting within the chute. I do not think the door had been closing properly, so there may be multiple problems. I can physically move the door center/seal and the ice will come out, but the door does not close. I have been able to manually seal the ice gate and I taped up the door, so the cold air is no longer escaping. I also need to know how to open up the door to replace the parts. I am not sure if this is done from the outside or indisde of the freezer. any help would be appreciated.
