The door seal will normally last the lifetime of the appliance, unless a spill occurs directly on the seal. This will make the seal get too hard to conform to the front frame, causing a heat loss and complete change in the air circulation in the bake compartment. This will of course affect the bake result. To replace the door seal, the door must be removed and disassembled. To remove the door, open the door to the broil position and lift up and away from the hinges' position. The door should lift right off of the hinge. You will need a work area where you can move the door about without scratching the floor or other personal property. A beach blanket or blanket works great. You should probably take pictures of the door with your cell phone before and during the disassembly process for referral during reassembly. You should also place the screws in order as you remove them because if you force a larger screw into a smaller hole, the screw that went in the smaller hole will not grab in a larger hole. This will make you short on screws, so keeping them in order simplifies the reassembly. Once you get the door down to the point you can see the ends of the door seal, the seal can be replaced and the door reassembled. Of course the reassembly is the reverse of the disassembly. To reinstall the door onto th4e hinges, make sure the door hinges are in the broil position and carefully slide the door down onto the hinges. Check for proper door closure and you're done.
