The drain pan is leaking onto the floor, is this a model that it can be removed? Thank you
Red for Model Number FPES19TFWO
Answer Hello Red. If there is a bolt on the top of the compressor, you can remove the drain pan 5303917590. If not, then you can not remove it. These can be cleaned out without removing the drain pan. Hope this helps.
I need to replace the drain pan on top of the compressor. It's corroded through and is dripping on the floor. A previous question indicated that it is not removable. Can the smaller pan (Comp Serv) be placed over it?
Darrell F. for Model Number FPC121TFW1
Answer Hello Darrell. Based on the model number you provided, you can remove the drain pan 5303917590. There should be a bolt in the center of the pan with a nut on it. You will unscrew this nut to remove and replace the drain pan. Hope this helps.
Note: This question is for the older version of this part, but we thought you might still find it helpful
How do you remove the funnel from the back of thr freezer compartment to clean ?
Red Rooster for Model Number tpk160jniw
Answer Red Rooster, The easiest way to clean the defrost drain funnel and tubing, is to remove the freezer back wall, and slowly pour hot, soapy water into the drain trough of the defrost drain panel, under the evaporator. You'll need some towels and rags to absorb the soapy water, but that's easier than a complete teardown of the fridge, and freezer, and will be just as effective. Good Luck
