My washer won't drain / is that a timer or pump problem?

Answer Hello Dixie. Check the pump and make sure it is not clogged. It has a filter located in the tub to pump hose. Hope this helps.

My washer does not final spin if heavy load (fuzzy blanket that seems like a sponge). I replaced the pump thinking that was the problem, but same behavior. Sometimes final spin, sometimes not. Any ideas?

Answer Hello Karen,
You will want to check to make sure that your pressure switch hose is not clogged or kinked. Pull the hose from the lower tub to make sure that there is not debris in the hose that would cause not to drain properly. Also check drain to make sure that there is nothing clogged in drain or drain pump. The Fuzzy blankets can cause heavy lint to get into the drain system and cause clogging.
