We had a glass break in the dishwasher. Took out all we could find. Now it won't discharge any water. It hummes or buzzes for about a minute when it should be pumping out water. Can a small piece of glass get in the pump and jam it? Can pump be dis-assembled and cleaned or just replaced? If replacing pump is needed, do I need any additional parts to complete the installation? Thanks Lynn

Dishwasher malfunctioned today. I checked the impeller and it is frozen in place. It also leaked a small amount of water at the same time. I cleaned this up before it had any negative side effects. Is this the sign of a bad pump?

Our dishwasher (Frigidaire Ultra Quiet III FDB750RCC0) isn't draining. I cleaned out the drain and disassembled what I could without pulling the unit out from the counter, but nothing seems to be blocking the drain. When I had access to the pump motor from inside the unit, the wheel wasn't spinning freely--it kept springing back--which makes me think it's the pump motor. Does this sound like a pump issue? And if so, do I need the whole pump kit, or just the pump? I couldn't tell from the product description what the "kit" included that the plain pump did not. And, finally, will this pump work for my model of dishwasher? Thanks in advance! Dave

Impeller on the dishwasher drain pump went bad. Ordered 5304463777 and replaced the unit. Dishwasher still not draining. Verified no obstructions on intake or drain lines. Verified power from timer. Getting 21.8 ohms across pump leads and open to chassis ground. Any suggestions?

Moved and reinstalled this dishwasher, and the drain hose came off when installing it. Now when the dishwasher tries to drain it floods the floor. I found the drain pump, there was only one place on the pump that seemed likely for the hose to connect to (I had not looked at the drain pipe and don't have the manual) and that place on the pump has what seems to be a pliable or flexible backflow preventer. What have I done wrong or is there a problem with the drain pump/hose/etc.?

Just had an incident. Dishwasher is not draining. I have read the posts only question. What position of rotation should I have the switch while testing for power to the pump?
