My Repair & Advice
Replaced the drain valve. duh. here's the kicker...original problem was circulation pump was broken. Paid $350 to have it "professionally" fixed, and when we turned it on, it wouldn't run, so "professional tech" said "it must be the control panel". So I say maybe, send him away, checked the indicator panel and sure enuf, drain valve light. So I ordered it here, replaced the valve, and it ran really funky with weird noises, Then water starts leaking under dw. So I figured I did something wrong. Pulled out the dw, inspected my work, put a little more torque on the clamps and reinstalled. Same problem, more water leaking. Pulled machine again, inspected the "professionally installed" pump, and the guy had installed the pump AFTER he tightened the hoses, so when rotating the pump to install it, he crimped the hoses!!! Reinstalled pump correctly. Works Great! Professional techs WAY overrated.
