Answer Hello Robb, This actually slides straight out toward you. If you try to pry it up, it will do cosmetic damage. I never pry in either case. If you get hold of it and jerk, it will snap right out.

Answer Hello NS. To clean the sticky, do not pour the water use a hot damp cloth and wipe the stuff off the drip pansa dn top assembly.

Answer Hello N.S., The last time I had one like this, I thought the customer had glued it in, but it turned out that sweet tea had been spilled in the tray multiple times and it was stuck down with the sticky from the sugar in the tea. Kool-aid, soft drinks, and the like will give the same effect.

Answer Hello James. There are small tabs on the drip tray that lock it into place in the dispenser. If they are missing, and the tray falls out, you will need to replace the drip tray 241649003. Hope this helps.
