capacity of tub?
John G. for Model Number ltf2140es3
Answer Hello John. The rating of this tub is 3' cubic feet, thanks!
My washer is locking up when it reaches final spin cycle it tries to lock up and sometimes it does. I was wondering about the bearing or bearings and to replace them.

Answer Hello Chris,
You should double check to make sure that the pressure hose is not kinked or damaged. Make sure that the unit drain pump is not clogged. These issues can cause unit to not got through final spin. Also access the tech sheet inside of unit and run through diagnostics to see what if any diagnostics code comes in.
Washer shakes badly from the time it was brought home, replaced shocks, checked and is level, sits on a solid surface.Do you think the spider shaft is broke or bent or maybe welded off center to the tub? Thanks.

Answer Hi Steve. If you have corrosion or can verify a broken spider mount bolt, then you will need to replace the inner & outer drum. Inner spin basket part # 137105900. Rear outer basket is part # 134509510. Watch the front run-out of the inner tub lip against the inner door boot area. If it is more then 3/32" run-out difference then the inner tub / spider is out of round and balance. You need to also look at the rear pulley part # 137317100 and the screw part # 134408400. If theses are worn against anything with wobble then it can throw it out of round. Remove the top. Look at the top springs and make sure they are placed in the top side protectors part # 134562100 correctly. The springs are part # 134362800. I would try these and place a dab of center seal grease if you blatantly do not find any other definitive defect in your inspection's. Use a half glass of water in front of the unit approx. 8-10" out from the front center of the unit as a test to see if a great deal of slosh is a sign of the floor or the unit. I know you said the floor is solid. Is it concrete ? You also need to inspect all the front and top concrete counterbalance weights. Are they broken ? Are the shocks placed firmly into both the tub itself and the base assy? Is the base ok and not bent ? Is the foot pads worn out part # 134548800. They need to grip a perfectly clean floor in order to handle the high speed spin. Thank You.
