How to install a belt?
William W
Answer Hello William. First lift the top of the machine by releasing the clips from under the top corners. To install this belt you will need to remove the front assembly of the dryer. Once removed you will need to loop the new belt around the dryer drum. Here is a link to the Repair Forums page. This is a free service we offer our customers. This link has diagrams of how the belt goes around the pulleys. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/dryer-repair/25860-dryer-belt-diagrams.html

My dryer started squeaking while running recently and it does not go away. I want to repair it myself can you please tell me what parts I may need to purchase and how to repair. Thanks. I'm sorry I cant read the model number but its a black Frigidaire Affinity dryer.

Answer Hello Donna,
This could be a drum roller 134715900, an idler arm and pulley assembly 134793500, or the motor assembly 137115900. While these are the most likely suspects, there could also be something stuck between two moving parts anywhere inside the unit. Of course, these parts are assuming the model number is FAQE7001LW0. The motor part number will be the only part number that will change from one to the next. You really need to try to get the correct model number to avoid ordering incorrect part numbers. For instructions, we will need an e-mail address to send illustrated instruction sheets.
