Your answer to my question concerning a receptacle for an oven bake element stated, "Hello Don. The part number Q-43505 for the receptacle has been permanently discontinued by the manufacturer and we don't know of any source or replacement for the part. Thanks." The problem is that the spring clip in the receptacle that clamp onto the element blade is burned. It should be possible to substitute the spring clips from another oven receptacle. Would a similar receptacle be available that I could canabalize for that part? The element is part AP2557845 (5300210961) made by Frigidaire. Thanks.

My oven is an old Westinghouse. I bought a bake element for it from you in April, part AP2557845 (5300210961) made by Frigidaire (and is not the problem). Now I find that the socket or receptacle that the elements plugs into is shot. So now I need to replace that also. I can't find the part number for that or any information on how to get the old one out. I would appreciate getting the Frigidaire (or whoever makes it now) part number so I can order that and also any tutorial you might have on how to replace it. Thanks. Don
