My washer is used in an environment that the filter gets plugged and a service call to clean out is needed again. Is there a sort of simple way to get the back off and remove filter and pull out the clog of dog hair? Or a engineering change so customer can change it periodically.

Will the filter cause the pump from working or draing properly?
