How do know where to place the foil/ ap5325531 and ap5305711?

Answer Jeff, align the top foil 316574603 along with the handle. This will help reflect the heat away from the handle. You can place the side foil 316574601 along the sides towards the top of the oven door. Hope this helps!
I am replacing the glass in my oven, it came without foil. Is the foil needed? Items 14 and 14a.

Answer Jeff, the manufacturer does not supply the foil with the outer glass. The aluminium strip helps reflect some of the heat and is needed for safety reasons. The top foil is part number 316574603 and the two side foils are part number 316574601 (comes one per package). Thanks!
