Answer Hello John! No, the front is not suppose to sit on the floor when pulled out. It uses the drawer glides to stay up. The rear drawer glide is part number 3051163 and attaches to the rear of the drawer. The front drawer glide is part number 3051162 and attaches to the oven body.
