My Freezer runs all the time and the seems to leak when you close it. You can hear air being sucked in. Will this seal fix it?
Dave for Model Number F22CW12 Artic Air Freezer
Answer Hello Dave. If you see ice hanging from the inside of the unit, yes replace the gasket. If there is no ice or moisture, the unit is fine.
The gasket AP2582171 is a screw-in gasket or a plug-in?
Thanks
Brent for Model Number KRS220RHY
Answer Hello Brent! Your model KRS220RHY uses gasket part number 216522318. This is a screw in gasket. The door will need to be removed in order to install the seal and remove the screws from the existing seal. Pull the old gasket off. The new gasket will press into the door liner. With the installation, you will have to screw in the corners first and do every other screw on each side to tighthen. It may be best to soak the new gasket in warm water to help take its shape/form You may need to use a hair dryer to form the seal, be careful not to melt it. Hope this information helps you, thanks!
