Answer Hello Cheryl,
To replace the door seal on unit, you will pull the old seal out from behind the liner. When installing new door seal you will push the plastic on the back of the seal behind the door liner. It will be tight around the corners so use care when installing.

Answer Sheryl, How lucky can you get, to remove the gasket, grasp the seal assembly in the center and pull out, straight towards you, the gasket has a "hidden" retainer strip on the back side that is inserted in a retaining groove on the plastic door liner. You may want to warm the new door seal with a blow dryer or in a tub of hot water, before installing it. Thanks and Good Luck
