How do I remove the old refrigerator door gasket and install the new one?????
When you lift the inner part of the door gasket there are screws that hold the liner in place. These screws are also holding the door seal. You would need to either loosen or remove the screw and pull the old seal off and insert the new seal edge behind the liner and screw back into place.
I cannot find parts on the fridge. I need gaskets for the freezer and fridge. What are my options to find the gaskets for this product?
Answer Hi Ryan, Try using model MRT15DNCD0 instead of MRT15DNCDO. Using a zero at the end of the model number instead of the letter "O". You should find refrigerator gasket 218730604 and freezer door gasket 5303288856. Hope this helps!
How to change refrigerator door gasket?
Answer Hello Fred. You will need to remove the door from the refrigerator. Then remove the screws holding the inner door to the outer door under the gasket. Once removed, you will need to remove the old gasket, then install the new gasket starting with the corners. Once installed, you may need to use a hair dryer to heat the gasket to form a good seal on the refrigerator. Be careful not to melt the gasket. Hope this helps.
