Part #20 and the main wire harness started fire and melted together what could have caused this. The oven is 16 months old and the wife was simply preheating the oven. I came home from work and smell it along with the chard wall behind it

Answer Bob, We take for granted your "Part #20" is the clock/timer assembly 316557115 ? And the wire harness was melted. What caused it, it could be as simple as a loose connection at the terminal block on the back of the stove , where the power supply wires attach, Loose connections usually cause an increse in resistance and voltage fluctuations. You would also want to check the complete wiring harness for any wires that may have been, or gotten piched to the cabinet screws and chassis. There could have been a voltage spike from the power supply, or even a "shorted" bake or broil element, as well. Good Luck and Thanks
