Does a heat exchanger repair a fridgerator that when turned up all the way it
only has a tempurature of 10 degrees in the freezer part and 40 degrees when turned up all the way in the refrigerator part of refrigator?

Answer Hi Terri. Please look inside your freezer and see if your evap. fan motor and blade is turning correct speed. Then look inside your fresh food on the top back left and feel if the air is flowing strongly through the damper. If not then disassemble the damper motor and unhook the electric motor. Stick something in the damper door to keep it open at a 50 % rate. This part # is 241523701. Also pull out the fridge and remove the back lower cover. Make sure that your condenser fan motor is working up to speed. If this is not, or that your condenser is clogged you need to replace fan motor is part # 297279500. The coil cleaning brush is part # TJ103. All of the latter part will make your center divider wall in between the freezer and your fresh food doors will be "HOT", since the freon is now boiling and not cooling well. Thank you.
