When crushing ice, I see parts of plastic with the crushed ice. What causes that?
Answer Michael, The plastic savings are the result of the chopper blades and spacers being worn and bent inside the front cover. They contact the casing and retainers and the chips fall out with the ice. You can remove the front panel and front housing and replace the spacers and retainers and check and straighten the chopper blades or replace the complete bin assembly.
