Is the item the complete assy just ready to slide in. The reason i ask is the blade welded on the spiral shaft broke and it wont dispense ice need to know before I order it.

The blade on spiral shaft has disconnected from the shaft and will not dispence ice. Can the part be replaced or do I have to purchase the whole ice container?

You do not have to replace complete bucket assembly in order to replace the drive blade 241684501. You may also want to check the ice auger screw 241716101 to ensure that it is not damaged as well. Just keep in mind when you remove the blades from the ice bucket to pay close attention and even possibly mark them and the washers as to how they come off and go on. Not doing this and getting the blades back on wrong will cause the unit to not crush or dispense ice properly.
