Answer Hello Robert. To remove the old icemaker, remove the bucket and turn off the power. Then remove the two screws securing the icemaker to the side wall of the freezer. Lift the icemaker out and unplug the wire going to the icemaker. Install the new icemaker 241798201 and make sure the fill tube is in the cup on the new icemaker.
1. We have to push stop arm all the way down for it to make ice, it will only go down 98% of the way?
2. Water leaks into ice ben.

The water leaking into the ice bin may be caused by a deterioration of the ice mold which would require a new icemaker 241798201.

Answer Hello Tony. If you replaced the icemaker, and the unit does not bring in water, you will need to replace the water valve 218658000. Hope this helps.
