The ice maker compartment is not cold enough. The freezer compartment is fine. There is no water entering the trey. Is this because the temperature is too high? What is the likely cause of the temperature problem?

I noticed water drips from the top ice maker, causing ice to freeze on the bottom of the ice container, causing the auger to jam. It seems like it is leaking from the bottom of the ice tray. Can i just purchase the tray or do i have to get a new ice maker, and how difficult is it to replace tray and ice maker?

Latest Questions

Hi ! My Icemaker is producing good ice. However recently the auger started to make a rough noise and I found out that there is an ice block at the bottom of the bin. Cleaned it up and reinstalled. A day latter found again an ice block statting to form underneath the auger Seems like the Ice tray is dripping water, found a couple of frozen drops at the front of the Icemaker unit. Any recommendations or adjustment for the unit. Or it's a R&R situation?

My 10-cube ice tray cracked on my Frigidaire Gallery - FGHB2844LF5 - and water is leaking and freezing down in the auger tray. I just need to replace the ice tray, not the entire ice maker (part #9495130?) Is it possible to just purchase the 10-cube ice tray?

Could you please give me information on how to reset the spring inside the front cover? My ice maker works off and on and I think the little spring inside is the problem. Thanks
