Looking for the idler pulley spring in parts and I can not locate. Want to see what it looks like and where it hooks to. My spring looks like it may be broken. The spring falls down and the puelly moves in and has tension on it. I will move the spring back and push the end of it up into the hole then it has tension. I think the end of the spring broke. From what I can see it looks like it wraps around the pulley on one end and then goes straight then bends. There is only a small end after the bend on my spring like a 1/8" I need to replace my belt. I think the spring keeps falling and the tension comes off then the belt gets tangled.

Regarding the idler pulley replacement, in the diagram are part #35,36,37 used in the idler pulley. Why 3 "C" clips in part 35? If they are associated with idler pulley assembly, exactly where do they go. Having trouble getting the old pulley assembly off. It looks like a solid washer on the bottom holding it on instead of the clip?
