My Repair & Advice
My oven is 28 years old. Every retail store told me I would not be able to find the part and if I did; it would be so expensive to purchase and a technician would charge too much to fix it.
I did my research online, searched for part for the manufacturer (Montgomery Ward). Was not successful in finding the model number, so I connected with the "chat rep' online who immediately cross referenced the model number, and found the part for only $38. (there was a convenient video showing how to install the igniter) I viewed it. I received it within 2 days.
Someone I knew viewed the video and had it installed within 30-45 minutes.. my oven works like a charm again! So I did not have to spend $700 for a new oven!
