I'm not getting a proper wash result. Could you provide information on pump removal? Thanks
Answer Hello Brian,
While the part comes with instructions, it is simply a matter of removing the three or so screws that hold the motor bracket in position and pull the motor out of the sump. Installing it is the opposite except that you have to make sure the "O" rings are properly positioned on the motor before insertion into the sump.
The dishwasher is not spraying on the top amymore any suggestions as to what is wrong? Also it is making an abnormal noise too.
Answer Kerri, The noise, and the poor washability in the upper rack, is most likely due to improper water level. Start the machine and allow it to fill and wash for 5 minutes, open the door and remove the lower rack, the water level should be approximately 1/2 way up the lower wash arm support. If the level is not that high , you'll need to replace the fill valve 154637401. If the water level is in range, you'll need to remove the lower spray arm, support and filters and check the pump impeller for clogs or damaged vanes 154245801.
