Mark for Model Number FDB1050REM4
Answer Hello Mark. You need to check the door latch and check the door switches in the unit to see if they are bad on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html

My model # is not listed below, however is very close with a 3 instead of ast. For a latch assy part, is it possible it will work? I am having NO luck finding a replacement.

For Latch Assy Part Number: AP3867063, how can I test to confirm it is working? There are 4 points I can use a multimeter to test for closed loop.
Mict for Model Number FDB1500LFB0
Answer Hello Mict. Test each micro-switch. With the latch A00099902 attached to the strike, the switches should read closed. If not, you will need to replace the latch assembly. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
