Touch pad lights when buttons are pushed. After door is closed lights remain on for a few seconds then go out and nothing more happens. Lights on panel will also go out if door is not closed after a few seconds.

Answer Hello Dennis. It sounds like the start button on the control panel 154639207 is bad and you will need to replace the panel. Make sure the door switches are good on the unit before replacing the panel. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. My dishwasher shows that it is washing, and even counts down, but nothing is happening. Ii have replaced the door switch and the control board.

Answer Samuel, If the unit is filling with water but not washing then you would want to take a voltage reading to make sure that the pump is getting 120 vac. If the pump is getting power but not rotating then you would need to replace the pump. If the pump is not getting power at the pump and the control board is sending power then you will need to check the wiring for breaks or damage.

HELP! I was having a problem with my dishwasher showing a CL code so I ordered the latch assembly from you. Unfortunately I accidentally mixed up the black and white wires. After getting the wires hooked to it the way they are supposed to ( i think), the machine counts down like normal, but does nothing. I ordered a new control board assuming that i fried this one, but it is doing the same thing. Is it possible that I need to replace the latch again? It did spark, and singe the left front wire prong on the latch. Could it be in the harness?

Answer Samuel, It is possible that the door switch is faulty again. The CL error code indicates that the door switch is open. You will want to check the wiring between switch and control board for pinching or damage. If there is any damage then wires will need repaired. If this checks ok then you would need to replace door switch again.

The washer will start then in a few minutes CL comes up on the screen and then the washer stops.

The door will no longer close. I'm not exactly sure how this latch works, any explanations? It almost seems like the metal stub sticking out from the hub may be bent to far down? Is the latch purely mechanical? I'm also needing to replace the push buttons - but I don't want to do that until I can get it to latch but, wondering if they might be related.

Answer Hello. The latch is mechanical and does catch on the strike on the unit. If the latch assembly 154758101 is bad and is not connecting on the strike, it will prevent the unit from running. If the strike is broke, it will prevent the unit from latching. Also, if the dishwasher is un-level, it will prevent the unit from latching shut.
