My dryer tumbles with Heat but after a few minutes it stops and codes E64. We restart until the clothes are dry. I have not checked the heating element with a meter but it seems to be heating up. What could it be? Cycle limiter? Thanks for your help.

What part would I replace since the dryer constantly beeps even though the wet clothes were just placed in the dryer and it is the filter light that keep lighting up but the filter is empty.

Dryer does not heat. I removed the canister thinking there was a broken wire and I was going to have my daughter order a new element. The wires passed a continuity test on all terminals. The only other parts are the thermostat which passed a continuity test but the limiter did not. Is that the likely culprit for no heat.

Latest Questions

My dryer runs, but does not heat. Most troubleshooting says to clean everything, which I have. And the next most likely cause is a fuse. The only thing I am seeing is the Limiter (137032600). Is this the only other thing I can check?? It worked fine yesterday, and the dryer is only 4 years old.

I ordered a thermal limiter and was wondering if I have to take the back of my dryer to replace the part or do I go through the front

Is this limiter the humidity sensor that is supposed to shut off the heat cycle? If this part is functioning properly, what else would keep the dryer from shutting down when the load is dry? Thanks, Dick
