The door on the dispenser will not open when pushed to get ice, filling up the door with ice.

Answer Hello Jerry,
Check for 120Vac at the ice door motor while you hit the ice dispense button. If voltage is present, replace the ice door motor 218740005. If voltage isn't present, check the microswich and linkages that activate same. Be aware that the door switch for the main freezer door has to be closed for the voltages to be supplied to the dispense assembly. Let us know if further assistance is required.
