My fridge is running but not blowing any clold air. What is the first part i should replace to troubleshoot it?
Answer Martin that is a tough question to answer without knowing what you're hearing running. It appears you're looking at the evaporator fan motor as the possible culprit. If you do not hear any noise, or feel any air coming from the back wall of the freezer section there is a good chance that the evap fan is the culprit. It is a common part to fail. A lot of times they get noisy before failing. After removing power from the refrigerator, undo the screws that hold the back wall in place and you'll see the fan. It should spin freely. If it doesn't, than it is bad. If it does, the only way to know for sure if it's bad is to see if it's getting 120 volts to it when the unit is on and running. If power is to it and it's dead, it's bad. Thanks.
