Answer Hi Morris. Yes it does matter @ the polarity of the relay wires. The red one connects to the "L", line supply 120vac. The blue wire connects to the "N" terminal signifying the neutral power return side. The evaporator fan motor part # 5303918549 turns always while the compressor runs and flows freezer cold air into the fresh food via a damper control part # 241600902. Thank You.
