Hello: I have a whirlpool stove/oven. The top works just fine. The problem is in the oven. It is not heating properly. I placed a thermostat inside the oven when I began having problems. The problem is when I set the "Bake to 300" I will check it and the thermostat that I placed inside will say "350" then I adjust the setting down to try to get it to "300." For awhile this system was working by adjusting it to get it to the right temperature. NOW, it is very sporadic. Varying in temperatures vastly. Below and Above the temperature "Bake Setting." Where do you suggest that I begin troubleshooting? Thank you so much. It is very appreciated. Regards, Traci

Hello: My dryer buzzes when I turn it on and will not start. I tried turning the drum inside by hand. It will not turn in the clockwise direction, but it will turn counter-clockwise. After researching your website and troubleshooting, I think I may have it narrowed down to the "Thermal Limiter" and/or the "Motor." Would a bad "Thermal Limiter" cause the drum not to turn? I appreciate your suggestions. *.* Thanking you in advance. Traci

Dryer starts when control knob is turned, but stops as soon as you release it. I thought it may be the start switch but after an online chat with your people I am told it may be the motor itself as it has some kind of relay or another switch on it that is activated by the start knob. I would like to confirm this info and see if there is a replacement for that part, or does the whole motor need to be changed (in which case it maybe time for a whole new appliance).. Thanks
