Top arm does not move during the wash. The bottom arm works fine.

Answer Keven,
You will want to pull the pump apart and check the diverter ball to make sure that there is nothing causing the diverter to not operate properly. No clogs or blockages.
My washer fills with water, then does nothing. Timer moves, unit drains. It never moves arms or pumps water through. I am assuming the main unit pump has failed. Anything else I should check for before replacing pump? Thanks!

Answer Hello David,
You will want to check to make sure that you are getting power to the pump. You will remove lower access panel and with a multimeter check for 120 vac to the pump motor. This should be checking across white and blue wires on the motor with unit running. If you have power to the pump then the pump would need to be replaced. If there is no power then check wiring back to timer. If wiring checks ok then replace timer. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
