I have an Electrolux Dishwasher with a problem, it won't run through a complete wash cycle. The error code shown indicates a problem with the wash pump. My question is can I be pretty certain that replacing the wash pump will cure the problem or is it possible that there is another problem that would give this error code? Model #EIDW6105GB1, Serial #TH84957671. Thanks....

My dishwasher drains most of the water but about a inch is left in the bottom after the dishwasher is finished its cycle. Dishes seem like they still have a little soap left on them. We have drained the dishwasher and pulled the screen. We have poured baking soda and vinegar followed by boiling water through the bottom a number of times. It still will not completely drain after washing. Thanks

It appears that the dishwasher is not spraying water. The dishwasher was run through 2 cycles, both times the dishes remained dirty and the soap remained in the machine. I had an error code (01) that would not reset. The power was disconnected to investigate, clean, etc. The 2 cycles were run immediately after the power was restored.

Latest Questions

The unit is cleaning the lower dishes but is not cleaning the upper dishes. Also there is heavy condensation on the top of the inside of the unit as well as on the inside of the door toward the top. I had a "repairman" out who told me I needed a new pump and he replaced the pump, so I had him change the pump assembly but the unit now makes a lot of noise during the was cycle (like a grinding sound) and as I said is not cleaning the dishes in the upper rack. Could there be a problem in the supply arm that leads the arm that pushes the water out both below and above the top rack causing the condensation and not allowing the water to hit the dishes on the top rack properly? If so can I replace that arm? It also appears to be holding water in the bottom of the unit and there is a rancid smell in there as well. I am at a loss. I'd hate to just throw it away but I feel like that is my only other alternative.

Dishwasher will not fill with water. If set to run a cycle, it will act as though it is going to fill, then it will begin to run through all of the cycles, except there is no water. I found a technical trouble shooting manual that states to replace the wash motor (with hall sensor) and if that doesn't work, replace the main control board. Do these 2 items seem to be the likely cause of the no fill? If so, should I replace just the motor, or should I order both the motor and main control board? Thank you.

I have a frigdare dishwasher and the water will not drain, could it be the pump or the control.
