Hello, I have a older model oven that the burner will light, but when you put it on 350 degrees, it takes about 20 minutes to get to that temp. (checking with a oven thermometer) but then it will slowly keep rising above it and not shut off. Can this be the thermastat, or gas valve or what? Thanks

Hello, I have a gas (propane) oven that the burner will light, but heats up real slow (takes about 20 minutes to reach 350) then it will not shut off, but slowly keeps going up. Would the problem be the thermastat, or gas value, or what?

My oven is on 350 and will overheat to 500. Is there a regulator for the thermastat or is the thermastat not working correctly?

I recently replaced my thermostat (AP4358457) but it's very hard to engage. I push the knob in then turn counterclockwise and the knob turns but the metal post doesn't turn, I think my knob is stripped as a result of trying. I can barely turn it with my bare hands. Why does it take so much force? Does it need grease?
