I keep getting a F10 error code on my Kenmore oven and was wondering what could be the problem
The F10 error is a runaway temp. Check the Oven sensor for resistance. The resistance value should be 1090 ohms at room temp. If this checks ok then you will need to replace the control board.
I have an F31 error code. Can you tell me what I need to do to fix this issue?
Answer Hello Ray. Shorted Probe or connection. 1. (F30 or F31) Check resistance at room temperature & compare to RTD Sensor resistance
chart. If resistance does not match the RTD chart replace RTD Sensor Probe. Check Sensor
wiring harness between EOC & Sensor Probe connector.
2. (F30 or F31) Check resistance at room temperature, if less than 500 ohms, replace RTD
Sensor Probe. Check for shorted Sensor Probe harness between EOC & Probe connector. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
My dishwasher started squealing during the wash cycle. This has happened twice. I replaced the motor and soap dispenser last year. What can I do to isolate to the problem part?
You will want to check down inside the pump to make sure that there is nothing inside that would cause the squealing noise. This is the most likely cause but if it is clear then the only way to isolate is to run the dishwasher and when it squeals disconnect the motor harness to see if it is in the drain pump or if it is the motor of the unit.
