Our oven temperature is correct, per an independent thermometer. But food takes an extra 10-15 minutes to brown, beyond the longest time in a recipe. And even then only light brown. Cookies take almost double the time. There seems to be a fan that runs the entire time, yet my owners manual doesn't call this a convection oven.
The broiler feature works and browns food just fine.
You will want to do a resistance check on the oven sensor probe to make sure that it is good. The sensor should have a resistance reading of approximately 1090 ohms at room temperature. If it does not then you would want to replace the sensor. If it checks ok then check the wiring on the sensor to the control board to make sure that it is good. If it checks ok then the control board would be the most likely cause for the issue. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
My probe oven temp does not have the same connector as what is coming out of oven.
Answer Hello Barbara. Based on the model number, you needed to order 316490001 for the oven temp probe for the unit. I see where you ordered a control board, but not the temp probe. If you ordered it from us, a customer service rep will gladly set up the right part for you. Thanks.
