About 5min. after the oven gets to the temp i set it starts beeping and shows an F10 code, what does that mean and what do i need to fix it.
The F10 error code is for a runaway temperature. Check RTD sensor probe and replace if necessary. If oven is overheating, disconnect power. If oven continues to overheat when the power is reapplied, replace EOC. The resistance of the oven sensor probe should be approximately 1090 ohms at room temperature.
The video doesn't help much to change a temp probe in a wall oven. Can you do it from the front by pulling the wire out? is it long enough? Do you have to pull the whole oven out, and do it from the back? I just changed the timer panel, and now the cooking temp goes all over the place, even though it was very accurate until it failed.
You would be able to pull the oven temp probe out with out pulling the unit from installation. Just make sure that you keep the connector from falling back into the hole after disconnecting. You can test the sensor for resistance, which should be 1090 ohms of resistance. If not then replace the probe. If it test ok then check the wiring for the sensor which would require pulling from installation.
