My washer is leaking from underneath where the transmission goes into the outer tub. I replaced the tub seal already and its still leaking. Could it be a bad outer tub bearing?

We recently completed a motor control board repair on our washer and noticed while the washer is spinning that the pulley seems to be bent or at least out of alignment. With the belt removed, there is no play in the pulley otherwise, and the drum spins freely and without additional noise or vibration. Must we replace the pulley to correct this, or is this an indication of something more serious?

Latest Questions

Our problem is the belt keeps slipping off the pulley. If the pulley has already worn grooves into the tub, is it for sure going to cause the washer to leak? Our pulley is a little wobbley and we are going to replace it, but wonder if it will help. It is currently NOT leaking, but wonder is we should replace the tub or will it be okay?
