My washer goes in to spin and it squeeks. What could that be?
Answer Hello Evan. If the noise is like a bearing sound, you will need to order and replace the transmission on the unit. You need to remove the front panel and locate where the noise is coming from. This will be best to determine what part needs to be replaced.
How do I replace washer belt? Have new belt can't find tension release
Answer Hello Glenn. Roll the old belt off the large pulley, then start the new belt onto the motor pulley and roll it onto the large pulley. These are very tight and are not easy to do. Be careful not to smash you hand or fingers doing the repair.
