Answer Hello Lisa. Here is the issue, first the water should not be backing up to drain back into the unit, so that is plumbing. Also, there should be a loop in the top of the drain hose of the dishwasher to make an air gap. And last, but most important, the flapper 154617301 in the sump is bad and this is allowing the grey water to come back into the unit.

Answer Hello Paul. You need to check and see if something is stuck inside the impeller assembly on the unit. If so, it will cause the unit to be very loud.

Answer Hello Joe. It is best to uninstall the unit and lay it n it's back. Then there is a locking tab you release and the drain pump motor will twist to remove from the sump. Make sure you unplug the wires from the pump.

Answer Jerry, The 154736201 drain pump is a "A/C" single pole motor, as long as the correct wires are attached to the motor, the location won't affect the the drain, the motor runs in one direction only, when power is applied. Have you checked the drain hose and connections for kinks or clogs ?

Answer Troy, Yes it could be a control board issue. But your first check should be the drain pump motor 154736201. The drain pump motor is a more likely issue.

Answer Hello Wayne, Turn the breaker off to the unit and verify the power is off. Remove the kick panel. The pump is mounted to the bottom of the unit on a plastic bracket. The plastic bracket must be removed from the unit first because the screws that hold the pump to the bracket are not accessible while it is on the unit. Remove the wires to the pump and pull from under the unit. Now remove the bracket from the pump and put the bracket on the new pump in the same fashion it was on the old pump. Now mount the bracket back on the unit. re-attach the wires and re-establish power to the unit. Run it and check for leaks and normal operation. If there are no leaks, reinstall the kick panel.
