How to change receptacle; AP3737701. Thank you.
Answer Hello Roberto! You'll need to open the oven door and remove the oven racks inside the unit. Remove the lens retaining wire and lens and remove the light bulb. Pull the range out from the wall and remove the rear panel. Remove the wiring to the receptacle. There are release tabs on each side of the receptacle, press those in and push the receptacle forward into the oven cavity. Remove the receptacle and install in reverse order. Hope this helps you. Thank you for your inquiry.
The heating element on the bottom over heats. I set it for 350 it goes way over. Sometime it works and other times it over heats and starts to smoke. I replaced heating element 3 times since I bought it in the past 5yrs. What could be wrong?
Answer Hello Susan. You will need to check and see if the relay for the oven is sticking in the on position. If so, the element will stay on, and will not cycle on and off. If the relay is sticking, you will need to replace the clock assembly 316272202. If the relay is good, and the temperature is not reading correctly, you may need to replace the oven sensor 316217002. Hope this helps.
