My range for the most part works good. At times when we have the oven on the stove burners do not light or if they do the gas pressure is so high the flame blows out right away. Hope you can help. Thanks

My stove top takes a long time to light once we have turned on our lower oven. I was told I needed to replace my gas regulator. When I wrote you about it you told me I needed to replace my upper safety valve. The upper oven was not even involved in my question. I am asking if it is an indication the gas regulator needs to be replaced.

I have a tappan double oven. When we turn on the lower (main) oven and then try to turn on any of the stove top burners, the burners won't lite for a while as if there is air in the line that we have to bleed out. I was told it might be the gas regulator. Is there a way to adjust the regulator to compensate for this issue or do you have to just replace it.
