At the end of my dishwasher cycle, the dishes are not dry or clean. I think it might be a thermastat. I replaced the heating coil at the bottom of the dishwasher thinking that it would fix this problem. also it rattles and makes weird clicking sounds. Please help Clayton

Getting the HO code while washing comes & goes, but the temp inside seems very hot. We run the hot water before fill. The liquid soap kind of bakes to the door and does not desolve. Switched to powder soap and that cakes in place. Soap door seems to open during cycle OK. Not sure if this is a over temp issue or mechanical??? Seems like it's overheating and baking the soap...Ever seen this before? Thanks!

To which side of the thermostat should the red wire be connected? I see that there is a green dot on the bottom of the thermostat so I'm assuming that means it should be connected to a specific wire. I already threw away the old thermostat and didn't pay attention to which side as the wire had already melted away a portion of the thermostat.
