Hi; I have the same issue as Robin. The handle on my stove door has come off 3 times since 2004 (not to mention the glass has shattered twice - through no fault of mine). I spoke with Frigidaire several times about this problem and of course, since I don't have the extended warrranty they are not able to do anything for me except recommend a service repair center. Is there anything that you can suggest I do at this point. I really believe this oven or even the entire model line is faulty and have had it! I will never purchase another Frigidaire product due to this. Any help you can offer will be helpful. Thank you.

I have had continual serious issues with the handle staying on the door of my oven. It usually comes off when I have something in the oven and the door is HOT. This has been an ongoing problem since purcahse. I had reported the problem and a service tech came out and changed the handle out with new screws. Same size screws through..... ie same serious issue. Is this part the original size screw or has fridigdaire become aware of this potentially dangerous issue and replaced it with a longer one? If not, whom can I "talk" to regarding this problem with regards to a longer length screw. Thanks
