The screw shown does not look like the screw holding in the fan assembly to the motor shaft. The screw T have has no slots or hex type head.

Answer Hello Alan. There is no screws holding the fan onto the motor shaft. The fan has a threaded collar made into it and screws onto the threads of the motor shaft. Hope this helps.
